I suppose my misfortunate can turn to your gain…somewhat…
If I don’t get a hold of some money in the next week, I can’t pay my bills at the beginning of August. If I can’t pay my bills at the beginning of August…let’s just say there won’t be as much blogging in that month, and very possibly for September as well, since I don’t have any regular income in my future until October.
If you can, thus, buy my books…although, due to how CreateSpace is set up, I won’t get the money for books sold in July until September. (Though it will be helpful then, too!)
But, what would be even more helpful is if I can get at least two more students signed up for courses in the August term of Academia Antinoi. I have one student at present, and while “small class size” is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s bad when the teacher can’t keep a virtual roof over their head (or actual food, etc.!) during that time…So, as I said, my misfortune is your gain here.
If you sign up for a course now until midnight on the 31st of this month, you can take an Academia Antinoi course for $175, instead of the usual $200.
Thus, if I get two students to sign up this week, then I can pay my bills, and then worry about September when it comes. (But if I get four students, then August and September will be covered, and the world will be a very happy place in P. Sufenas Virius Lupus Land!)
I hate to have to beg like this, but until regular employment resumes for me (in late September), and I get paid in October, things aren’t very happy around these parts. I’ve been able to squeak by since the end of March in this fashion, but last month I was short about $60, and was given a very nice gift to make that payment of bills possible. Such gifts do not come repeatedly, so I must prevail upon other sources to make this happen.
