I Heard It Through the Crazy-Vine…

Everyone who reads this blog knows that I’m a friend and fan of Sannion, and have said as much on several occasions.

He’s always got something interesting going on over at The House of Vines, so I’d like to point out a few things that may deserve further clicking and thinking on your parts…

First, his series on the Chaldean Oracles is fascinating, and a visual feast as much as a mental one.

Second, his recent piece on masks, Titans, and the slaying of Dionysos is quite fascinating as well!

Third, go and buy his latest book, Strange Spirits: Volume One! (Full disclosure: I haven’t yet, but when the money truck rolls in I resume regular paid work in late September/early October, his book is on the very top of my “to get when there’s money” list!) And for that matter, go and get any and all of his books! We smaller polytheist press people have to look out for each other, and as a result, all of The Red Lotus Library’s books have ads for his Nysa Press books in the back, as well as several other worthy publishers that I’ve contacted (and more can always be arranged!).

[And, Sannion--and Odin-fans, and Thracians--you'll be pleased to know that the present entry is #999 in this blog!]
