With the Esoteric Book Conference only a week away (as well as some other family-related matters that are huge), several deadlines impending, and a great deal of work left to do, I wanted to let everyone know that the next few days/the next week will be sporadic.
Considering I posted every day in August (even if it was somewhat frivolous!), and at least once a day since July 8th, that’s pretty much a two-month streak, counting today.
So, now that the festival of Lucius Marius Vitalis for this year is over, I’ll be taking a bit of a break from daily postings for the next ten days or so.
I may have a poem at some stage over the next five days; and, I’ll certainly post on Monday the 10th once I have the public statement for this month’s Polydeukion Oracle. I’ll likely also do a kind of temporary “sign-off” when I head to Seattle for the EBC, which will either be next Wednesday or Thursday, the 12th or 13th of September.
To be certain, it’s a very exciting time, with the new books out, and the chance at the EBC to speak with a larger audience at a single event than I’ve ever spoken with on Antinous, and Polydeukion, and Vitalis, and Glykon (and others!), and the Ekklesía Antínoou, and the Serpent Path. But, much work remains to be done on the presentation itself, so I’ll be slaving away on that and a few other things over the weekend. Once my Academia Antinoi obligations for the sixth week next week are taken care of on Monday and Tuesday (though if I must do Wednesday as well, then I will…), I’ll head out the following day.
I hope you’re all doing well in the meantime, and I look forward to resuming “normal service” again when I return on the 17th!
