My deepest apologies to Lazarus for the horrible statement above…I am weak.
The blog Whereto We Speed is a good one by Lupercus, Mystes Antínoou, Horatius, and Aedificator of the Ekklesía Antínoou, Lazarus, a.k.a. Sr. Krissy Fiction (The Nun Who Got Nailed) of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. It hasn’t had a lot of posts for a while, but the blog has recently revived with several interesting posts:
“A is for Antinous” is a very good and personal introduction to Antinous.
“Apotheosis” is also an excellent piece that is beautifully stated, and (of course!) very relevant to the matter of Antinous.
And, from a little bit further back, “Why Not Ganymede?” which is a post on how people don’t quite understand syncretism in relation to Antinous, and in fact sort of fear apotheosis due to (quite often) unacknowledged specters of Christianity.
