Lightning Crashes…

I’m still in Seattle, and the Esoteric Book Conference (except for the after-party) is over. It went well…

I have not had internet access for the last few days since leaving my home.

The conference was great, and I’ll have more to say about it when I return home and have rested more.

But, a theme today was lightning (once again!). Thunder punctuated some of the presentations this afternoon in highly amusing ways. Then, at the place I’m staying tonight, lightning knocked out the transformer not long before I arrived back, and thus there is no power in the apartment. I’m typing this at a coffee shop nearby.

In any case, I’m happy to have attended, and look forward to telling all of you more about it, but also to returning home and perhaps getting some proper sleep soon, too!

  1. Welcome to the Pacific Northwest!

    • Though lightning and thunder aren’t that common here…I’ve lived here for the majority of my life, and was born and raised here, and lightning storms were relatively uncommon in my youth (i.e. once or maybe twice a year in my area of western Washington). They’ve had more lightning strikes this year than ever before in the Seattle area.

      • Sounds like we are both home-grown Washingtonians! small world!

      • The western WA pagan/polytheist/occultist/etc. world is one of the smallest, indeed.

      • Yes! Nice :)
