Guess who’s back?
I just had the shortest, most unusual Foundation Day ritual yet for Antinous, due to the fact that in less than an hour, I have to leave for work, and will be working most of the night tonight. While I do like that I’m this adaptable in my practices, I also would rather have the pageantry of a huge ritual at night with lots of people–or, failing “lots,” at least one other. This is, if I remember right, the first time in modern Antinoan history that I’ve not been able to have at least one other person with me. I made it work, with the help of Nyx and Polydeukion, but nonetheless…O, for the old days of (temporary) temples and (provisional and small) throngs of devotees! 😉
I’ll have to give further details at another time, and also the new “Frankensteinian” devotional text in Greek that I created for this purpose.
But, I hope that everyone reading this, and many more, have a very good Foundation Day indeed, and many more in the future!
Ave Ave Antinoe! Ave Ave Antinoe!
Haec est unde, Haec est unde, Haec est unde vita venit!
